๐ฅ Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 6 tablespoons pickle relish
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 4 pounds ground beef
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/2 cup yellow mustard
- 16 slices American Cheese
- 8 potato hamburger buns
- 1 onion, thinly sliced into half moons
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 2 cups pickle chips
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, mayonnaise and relish and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Heat a large cast iron pan over medium high heat, and add 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
- Divide the beef into 16 equal 4-ounce balls. Place one ball on the pan and use a large spatula to press down on the patty until it is very thin and flat. Season the top of the burger with salt and pepper and brush with mustard. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Flip and brush the other side with mustard. Place the cheese on top and cook for an additional 2โ3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- To assemble: Layer 2 burger patties on a bun and top with onion, pickle chips, shredded iceberg lettuce and relish sauce.
